As a GP Practice Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for patients, providing excellent customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the practice. The role requires someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities Reception:
- Greeting patients and handling telephone/email enquiries in a professional & friendly manner
- Booking, amending, and cancelling appointments using our clinical system
- Processing prescriptions, referrals, and other administrative tasks
- Handling patient records, ensuring confidentiality and accuracy
- Supporting clinicians with administrative tasks, including medical coding and summarising records
