Patient
Frequently Asked Questions
What training do the staff have?
All of our team members are trained to take blood and have practiced for at least three years.
Do I need to use emla cream?
Yes. Spread thickly on the inside of both elbows and cover with a dressing or cling film. This numbs the area to make it more comfortable for your child, ideally apply it 30 minutes before the appointment time.
Will the test leave a bruise?
Possibly, this is a side effect of blood tests at times.
