Dr Ritu Prasad

Dr Ritu Prasad is a General Practitioner and Partner at The Cedars Medical Centre in Ruislip, with over two decades of clinical and leadership experience. She currently serves as Chair of The Confederation, Hillingdon CIC, Clinical Director for Celandine Health and MetroCare PCN, and Clinical Director for Hillingdon Health Care Partnership. Passionate about medical education and workforce development, Dr Prasad is an Imperial College Tutor, GP and FY2 Trainer, Brunel Medical School Tutor, and an External Advisory Board member. She is also an Educational Supervisor for Physician Associates, Pharmacists, and Paramedics, and GP Lead for the NWL Training Hub. Her key interests include the development of integrated neighbourhoods and community-based services, supporting the left shift from hospital to community care. Clinically, she has expertise in multi-morbidity, frailty, obstetrics and gynaecology, and the advanced management of type 2 diabetes.
