Dr Selvi Babu
Dr Selvi Babu graduated in 1986 from Madurai Kamaraj University, India, and trained in Obstetrics and Gynaecology before moving to the UK in 1995 to further her expertise. After a maternity break, she embraced general practice, where she discovered her true passion for holistic patient care and community health. Awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2012, she remains proud of her roots in women’s health while championing innovation in primary care. As Joint Clinical Director of the Hayes & Harlington Collaborative PCN and Board Director of the Confederation, Dr Babu is passionate about addressing health inequalities and ensuring accessible, high-quality care for all. She believes people are your best asset and values empathy, collaboration, and building strong relationships to create meaningful change for patients and colleagues alike.
